The contemporary world is often regarded to exist in the era of globalization, i.e. it is rapidly becoming the so-called global village with unified civilization, common cultural and moral values, and most importantly shared market. All this has become possible due to the spread of globalization. If the 20th century was marked by the first and second stages of globalization, a number of trends are developing in the 21st century that point to what may be a new era for our world's economy. We at NCF think that these trends are worth highlighting, for this "new globalization" will have a tremendous impact on the American business community.
